Hi, I'm Andrew Donovan. I've been a Farm Bureau agent since 2016. Give me a call today to learn how I can make it easy to protect the things that are most important to you - your home, family, farm and future. I look forward to showing you how simple insurance can be.
I am a graduate of University of Nebraska - Lincoln. I graduated with a degree Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. Just out of college I worked for Contryman Associates PC. I learned a lot about small businesses and the daily problems they face. In May 1996 I joined a family business as the General Manager of True Value. I was responsible for many aspects of the business but the one I cherished the most was taking care of people. Generally people came in with a need and it was my responibility either personally or my staff to make their experience as good as possible. The sale wasn't the most important part, building relationships was. I always wanted them to make me person they trusted and the first person they thought of when they had a hardware store need. Our store burned down and I was responsible for the rebuilding of the store. I learned about insurance and the way it can impact people's lives. I would like to say that everyone lived happily ever after but life happened and I looked for better opportunities. If life gives you lemons you make lemonade. I went to work for Sahling Kenworth and used my experience to modernize the department that I led. Still not feeling that I was using the talents that God gave me I went to work for Task Lighting as there Controller. During my time with them I created systems and work flows that helped figure out the financial feasibility and helped to take them to online sales and better marketability.
I was approached by Farm Bureau to become an Agent. After some soul searching and internal inventory of strengths and weaknesses. I felt that my experience and my personality would make me a suitable person to attempt this career.
